1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account, including your email address, display name, and date of birth (for age verification purposes). We also collect usage data such as conversation metadata, feature interactions, and device information to improve the Service. For content safety purposes, we maintain moderation audit logs that record hashed (non-readable) versions of blocked content, timestamps, and moderation actions taken. We do not collect information beyond what is necessary to operate Neon Kisu and comply with applicable laws.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) personalize your experience; (c) process payments and manage subscriptions; (d) send important service-related communications; and (e) detect and prevent fraud or abuse. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on encrypted servers with industry-standard security measures. We use TLS encryption for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis. We conduct regular security audits to maintain the integrity of our systems.

4. AI Conversations

Your conversations with Neon Kisu characters are encrypted and treated as private. We do not read, share, or use your conversation content for AI model training. Conversation data is processed solely to generate real-time responses and is not retained beyond what is needed to provide conversation continuity within your account. However, all user-generated content (including text prompts and generated images) is subject to automated content safety scanning to prevent illegal content. If our systems detect potential child sexual abuse material (CSAM), we are legally obligated to report it to NCMEC and relevant law enforcement under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A.

5. Third Parties

We work with trusted third-party providers for payment processing, hosting, and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf. We do not share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) object to or restrict processing of your data; and (e) export your data in a portable format. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable data protection regulations.

7. Data Deletion

You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@neonkisu.com or through the Settings page. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will remove your data from our active systems within 30 days. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being permanently purged.

8. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We may use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect Service functionality.

9. Children's Privacy

Neon Kisu is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a person under 18, we will take immediate steps to delete that information and terminate the associated account.
